Anchors Away: Blue Springs State Park

Anchors Away: Blue Springs State Park

Check out this great video about beautiful Blue Spring State Park and our Central Florida wildlife. This was on my favorite morning news show and it was so nice to see them focusing on our most popular tourist attraction. In this video, you will see great shots of manatees and alligators living in harmony in the St. Johns River.

**Scammer Alert**1-800#s and Toll Free Numbers for hotels

Please be aware that our 1-800# for reservations is the following: 1-800-465-4329 aka 1-800-HOLIDAY(central reservations-all IHG hotels). Holiday Inn Express Orange City/Deltona has a dedicated toll free number, which is 1-866-937-0004. Please DO NOT call other 1-800#'s to make reservations for hotels because scammers can easily buy a 1-800# and keywords on the internet to make it look like you are calling a hotel directly, when in fact you are calling them directly and could be giving your credit card to a scammer. I understand that this has been happening in the Northeast and I certainly don't want it happening to any of our guests, so please take note of our numbers and program them in your phone so that you never have to do a web search. #

Busy Season in West Volusia

It's an exciting time of year here in West Volusia. Race Week is just a little over a month away, Bike Week is 2 months away and we are set to be busy pretty much every weekend. I love it!! Not only does it keep the hotel busy, but it always ensures that my staff is getting a full work week, so they are happy because that mean a little bit bigger of a paycheck for them.

So, if you are coming to Central Florida over the next couple of months what are coming in for? Disney, Universal, Weddings, Sporting Events, etc? We would love to hear what's bringing you to our area.

Rooms still available for Champs Sports Bowl

Good Morning football fans!!  The Champs Sports Bowl is scheduled for tonight at 5:30 at the Florida Citrus Bowl and we still have rooms available.  If you're traveling to Orlando and you want to avoid the Disney and I-Drive traffic, stay with us on the quiet side of Orlando.  Only 30 minutes from the stadium, we have easy on/easy off access to I-4 and you will have a fabulous breakfast in the morning.  Be sure to check us out online and book your room now.  We only have about 30 rooms left and we sold out last night, so they will go fast tonight.
